I hope everyone is staying warm here in KC! I am about to set up my studio for tomorrow’s newborn session but wanted to share a blog post first.
We had a fun weekend and checked out a few new-to-us businesses. On Friday we celebrated my birthday and also my hubby’s birthday, he is 2 days older than me. We went out to J Gilbert’s for dinner and it was soooo good! I highly recommend it. They even send you a $25 coupon for your birthday if you sign up for thier email list, score! It was the first night of restaurant week so we got to enjoy the pre-fix menu. The crab bisque is to die for. A big thanks to my hair dresser/client with baby #3 on the way who recommended it. Then we went to Top Golf. My husband went to the one in Phoenix while he was there on business and has been wanting to check out the one they just built here since it opened. We finally were able to make it and it was so cool! I am not a golfer but I was still having fun. In fact I was doing better than my hubby, lol. It is set up kinds like bowling but your driving golf balls, so it is great to do with friends. It was a COLD night but they heat the decks well. It was an awesome date night out! The rest of the weekend was the usual stuff of chores, grocery shopping, editing and shot one session. Then since the kids were off of school today for Martin Luther King day I took them to check out Urban Air in Overland Park. They had a blast! I even ran into a couple moms and their little ones that I have been photographing for a couple years now. I always love seeing clients outside of work. 🙂
Ok, now about the session I am sharing…I love all the white and lightness to this newborn baby girl session from this past summer. The white, light grey and light pink all look so pretty with beautiful little Caroline. She slept great for me!!
