My poor blog has not been updated in so long!! I decided to take a few minutes for quick update before I start editing for the night. I will be making some changes to my blog at the beginning of the year, can’t wait to get it all done! I will be getting rid of my website all together and just have my blog. I will be introducing some new products too. 🙂
Along with the blog changes I will be starting the year caught up and not taking on much the first couple months so I can get all the updates done and recharge for 2016. 2015 has been quite the year!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I have been working away at getting my new studio space set up and I can not wait to share some photos of it! I had a vision of how it would come together and so far it is all working out. We are also loving the new house. It is hard to tell how well your things will fit in a house until they are actually in there. I am loving it more than I even thought. It still needs a lot of l$ve, lol, it will be a work in progress for a while.
I also went to a meeting today about the upcoming baby fair. Mark your calendars, Baby Love KC’s only baby fair will be on August 2nd from 10am – 3pm at the Overland Park Convention Center. I will be there and I will be giving away a free mini session and frame! Plus there are a lot of other great prizes and swag bags for the first 250 expecting moms.
Now a quick share from a session last week. I LOVED this shot of Logan and his dad. Dad was sick the day of our sessions so they came back for a few family shots and this cute shot.

Here is a sneak peek from today’s newborn session. Mom is not big on Facebook so I am always happy to post the peek on my blog. In fact I may start doing this for all of the sneak peeks. 🙂
Little Logan arrived wide awake to my studio today but I quickly got him to sleep and he did great for me the rest of his visit! Such a sweet little boy. This is my favorite shot of him nestled in all the blue.
Be sure to book your newborn sessions early! I am taking on a couple more sessions for August and then will be booked and the fall is filling up fast too.

I have been dying to blog but it has been a crazy several weeks and there just has not been time. I could not wait any longer and had to stop tonight for a quick share. This is from a shoot a few months ago of a precious newborn baby girl named Olivia Eve. Her mom is a talented newborn and baby photographer in the area also and it was such an honor to be asked to photograph her baby girl. We have worked together several times. She helped me when I had twins in the studio and she was wonderful. She is so great with babies and I was so excited when she told me she was expecting. (I may have been one of the first ones to know, shhhh) I love getting to see her as a mom now. I knew she would be awesome at it and she is!
