Who can resist those chubby cheeks and little grin? I know I can’t!

This lovable newborn boy was so adorable during his session. I love the picture of him in his lion hat…he looks like a cuddly lion cub! I was also able to capture a couple of his smiles, which always makes my day.

You’ll also notice in the holiday shot, that there are beautiful cascading orbs of light in the background. It’s always so great when those are highlighted in an image. It really gives the background a magical feel.

Love the image of the sweet family together and I recently just saw them again to photograph him for his first birthday. So much fun to see the babies grow and change!

Happy Halloween everyone! Looks like it might be a cold one tonight…so keep those kiddos bundled as they gather gobs of candy!

One of the exciting parts of being a photographer is the ability to use different props, colors, textures, backgrounds,  etc. It’s always gratifying when all the elements come together to create a unique and special image. I wanted to share a newborn session from last year. The first image is of this precious baby boy nestled in a rustic hanging basket. I love how organic the colors and textures look next to him as he lies sleeping soundly.

And as we all know, the holidays are quickly approaching and before you know it, it’s Christmas! So, there are a couple images of the baby sitting in a peppermint striped box and he looks like an adorable present ready for Christmas morning! And what could be better than a woven snowman hat with a carrot nose?

Remember the Mother Goose rhyme that reads…sugar and spice and everything nice, that’s what little girls are made of? Well, this sweet newborn girl was definitely made of sugar. The coral, turquoise and violet pastels looked so flawless next to her delicate skin. She looked celestial in her soft feathered angel wings and I love the shot of her tiny folded hands. And how peaceful she looks in the vintage metal baby bed. Such special moments.

This lovable baby boy gave me the perfect smile during his newborn session. It’s so exciting to capture one of their first smiles and to treasure it for years to come. You just want to snuggle with him when he’s wearing the precious teddy bear hat and sitting in the light blue bucket. And he looked as cute as a button in the yellow cap! Such cherished newborn moments.

Can you say Pretty in Pink? This delicate newborn girl looks so dainty in her woven brown and pink hat with hanging pom poms. She was such a precious baby, and I was able to capture her sweet, soft face. The antique buggy worked out perfectly, she looks like a little angel. And I love the shot of her in the purple crochet bonnet as she lays nestled among the gentle layers.
